Frequently Asked Questions
To keep your dog looking and feeling their best, I recommend:
• Full groom: every 6–8 weeks
• Bath & brush, tidy-up, or de-shedding: every 3–5 weeks
• Nail trims: every 2–3 weeks
Regular grooming helps prevent matting, keeps skin healthy, and makes each visit more enjoyable for your pup.
A full groom includes:
✓ A warm bath with gentle, high-quality shampoo
✓ Blow dry and thorough brush-out
✓ Nail trim and ear cleaning
✓ Sanitary tidy and full-body haircut
✓ Lots of gentle handling and one-on-one care
Each groom is tailored to your dog’s needs and comfort level.

Most appointments take about 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, and temperament. I always take my time to make sure your dog feels calm and safe throughout the process
Yes, absolutely. I specialize in working with dogs who need extra patience and understanding — whether they’re anxious, reactive, older, or have special needs. Your dog will get one-on-one attention in a quiet, low-stress environment.
For the full grooming, most dogs settle better without their parent present. If we’re grooming at my home salon, I kindly ask that you drop off and pick up. For house calls, I may ask you to give your dog space during certain parts of the groom. It helps them stay calmer and more cooperative.
For the nail trim, yes, as it can be helpful if you stay, so you can help me hold your dog if needed.
Yes! I offer house-call grooming for dogs under 35 lbs, and nail trims for dogs of any size. I bring everything I need — all I ask is for a quiet, well-lit space with access to an outlet and water.
If your dog is matted, I’ll do my best to brush out what’s safe and comfortable. In some cases, a short haircut is the kindest option. I’ll always walk you through the plan before we begin and prioritize your dog’s comfort every step of the way.
Just your dog with their collar or harness on and a potty break beforehand. If your pup has any allergies, sensitivities, or health concerns, please let me know in advance.
Life happens! I just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This gives me time to offer the spot to another pup who needs it.
